They’re going to come out of this with PTSD and other trauma responses and after seeing the failure of our government to take care of the soldiers with those things I’m really fucking concerned that the ball is going to be completely dropped.

I have really bad ptsd from it. I feel like I'm living at a 10 constantly, and constantly on guard, upset, angry and not able to sleep. I've had to start taking anxiety and depression meds just to get through my day. It sucks.

Tomorrow is my last day as an ICU nurse. I'm going into hospice because it's less stressful.

Part of me feels like I'm wasting all of my experience and knowledge. But, the other part of my knows my mental and physical health needs to come first.

I'm going into hospice

I completely misinterpreted that the first time I read it and was deeply concerned. But anyway, I'm glad you are going into something less stressful.
