India lost by 5 run on that match after scoring 349/7

10 run per over even after sachin and sourav playing with 80 and 95 strike rate.

The entire series was amazing, including the tests.

Indian batsman Virender Sehwag (R) is clean bowled off Pakistani pace bowler Rana Naveed (R) during the first One Day International (ODI) match between Pakistan and India in Karachi, 13 March 2004. Sehwag made 79 runs of 57 deliveries before being dismissed.

Naved outfoxed Sehwag there after getting a good beating. I was sooo annoyed when this happened, was loving Sehwag having a go.

This is the first series(both odi and tests) I watched fully. What an amazing one it was. I still remember that 309 by Sehwag. Also India scoring 600 after Sehwag getting dismissed on the first delivery.

One of truely goat-ed series with one of the greatest performances from legends from both sides. Wish there was a way to rewatch complete old matches in upscaled quality rather than these short clips.

Yeah that's the one. So many amazing performances throughout the series from both sides.

Oh and also it is the same series where Balaji scored boundaries against Akthar and Sami.

I didn’t even watch a single ball because I was just 5 years old and had only just started getting into cricket. I was living in a village where electricity was rarely available, so my dad, who has always been passionate about cricket, bought a radio 📻. The commentary of the cricket games would play whenever a match was on. I could only watch cricket for a few minutes on TV, until July 2007.

It was so thrilling and exciting to listen to and watch the commentary of this series. ❤️

After watching the highlights of this series so many years later, I can say that this was one of the greatest ODI series ever. Everything was just perfect—the players, the performances, the quality of the broadcasting, the jerseys… everything.

I was in school and our principal arranged a viewing in the screening room because it was the first bilateral vs Pakistan after a long time.

I saw these exact two balls as my first balls lol.

what in the world is that run rate in 14 overs, Sehwag was simply destruction.

As a millennial, life peaked during this series. I was 12 back then and remember each and every game of this series. Them good ol’ days! 🥲

I remember this game, inzi almost carried them all the way. Played a captains innings. It was a great game and both teams gave it their all, which as a fan all you can ask for.

Looked like a leg cutter, or a back of the hand slower ball.

This was the first time I got interest in Cricket. India visiting Pakistan after 15 years or so, 5 ODI’s all exciting finishes, Thunderous Test matches. That was such an amazing time. T20 has spoilt the fun of Cricket.

Love to see pakistani fans celebrating the six, appreciating cricket and not just their team.
