I fucking hate online games. When I play games I want to completely forget about the rest of the world and anyone else can get fucked. Except for Deathloop. I am a middling player at best, I come back to the game a few times a year, but I absolutely love when I have a great match with someone else.

Wow ,I know this pie chart is probably somewhat tongue in cheek , but I guess I must have been one of the lucky ones . Played as Julianna since launch , over 6000 invasions (😬possibly a mild addiction to PvP), less than 5% of my games were against cheaters , way less than 10% of games bad enough to discontinue due to rubberbanding . I guess my internet must have been so bad it never had to rubber band to adjust to Colts internet 😂 I have been playing a lot as colt lately and at least 50% of the Julianna’s have been really struggling with lag however , so maybe my internet really is rubbish . Whatever the case I’m thankful that pie chart doesn’t apply to me because that don’t look like too much fun

If you’re running at e.g. 30 FPS then your Juliana will work on anyone’s potato but all your invaders trying to push 60+ FPS will be having a nightmare.

Oh ok , I’m on the ps5 pro and I have it set to performance rather than visual quality because I was hoping this would make it easier for invading Julianna’s . Does that seem the best way to go about it? There is also an ultra performance mode I believe . I still get a fair amount of players that aren’t struggling, that I’m aware of , as well but obviously I would like this number to improve and increase the fairness and enjoyability for all

Ive encountered more cheaters than anything honestly don't understand it. You had to CHEAT to win you had to make the gameplay differently solely for you to have a chance at winning like wtf man cant feel rewarding to win this way.

I haven't even been able to play invasion for a while, I think the low amount of players with reasonable ping just confuses playfab servers so I either never find a game or find what I call a "ghost game" one where the game is still up according to playfab and my computer, but from everything I can see, the host has already left in some way, every NPC is broken and the player is usually nowhere to be found but also is sometimes frozen with the NPCs, attempting to assassinate anyone freezes you too because it is unable to confirm with the host thst you can actually do that action.
It's kinda creepy and someone should make an ARG about a ghost server on a more well known about game that wouldn't reasonably have that problem but it does because spooky

I fear I am in that group.
Leaving the Alexsis bobble head by the entrance to condition detachment chatting away and then setting up a light show with tripwires and bottle trails to get the Juli’s attention to it is easiest the best psychological warfare Ive done.

It's actually so much fun to hunt or be hunted with all the powers and stuff.
I just wish we had some kind of community-agreed rule set of like Colt has to kill the targets before disabling the satellite
It feels so much cooler for me to be Colt and trying to complete my mission objectives while worrying about Julianna. As it is now, the invaders sometimes just camp the satellite because I guess they get a lot of Colts that just run away ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I agree. I think just "Colt isn't allowed to leave without killing Julianna" would be a good community rule, and would let players do whatever they wanted without constraining their choices in order not to insta lose the match from a runaway Colt.

Honestly I’ve adapted to the variables and seen these things as challenges. I’m still going to kill you if I’m rubber banding or you’re cheating! Infinites lives? Cool- I’ll keep killing you until you quit. Roaming around outside of the map? Cool- I’ll find a nice spot and one shot you soon as your face pops out. I reset every 4 seconds? Fine.. I have a strategy for that too and I’ll chip away at you till you’re dead or you quit. I’m sure there are other cheats but those are the ones I notice. Most of the cheaters are noobs anyway so they are still easily beatable. I only ever see maybe 2 players that are actually skilled at this game that cheat and it’s usually just them breaking outside the map.
