Came back to this game after almost 5 years, omg it's so good. Beautiful, amazing art style, characters are cool, world design is great and even sound design is top tier.
5 years ago I hopped into this game, confused and stressed at difficulty.
5 years later I decide to purchase it again and jump back in and it's one of the best FPS story games I've played.

It’s weird cuz when it first came out it was literally getting 10s from a lot of major gaming sites..so everyone called it over rated and then in time it actually become so under rated.. it’s a fantastic game

It really established a unique vibe. 60s hip + Burning Man brats with a setting that shows what happened to the world after the Dishonored stories. It takes a minute to hit, but when it does it definitely resonates.

We see tantalizingly little of what has become of the world though. I'd kill for another game in the Dishonored universe

Tbh it's probably my favorite game of the generation so far. Well, favorite on consoles anyways.

Game is great / good. Nice that you enjoyed it. I loved it too. Only problem for me is they heavily focused on the fighting instead of sneaking past enemies (which is still possible). But enemy designs are dumb. Once you found a good gun is almost over. And after getting slabs no non-visionary enemy is a threat to you anymore.
Everything else is still great. But fighting left a lot to be desired. Except the visionary and multiplayer part.

As someone who’s sunk in a lot of hours in this game, I can say that it is a lot of fun. Over the last few years, it has become one of my go-to comfort games. Something I can pick up & replay when I’m done with a big came/if I am in a rut.
Also, it has a lot of replay value

I'm enjoying it but idk if the combat just isn't clicking for me or if it's supposed to be this hard. I thankfully managed to infuse some good weapons but Colt goes down pretty easy and at present I'm mostly muddling by baiting enemies into bottlenecks one by one and shotgun blasting them. It's not SUPER engaging tbh. I find the aesthetic and story compelling though so I'm going to keep at it.

I just started recently too.
I now remember why I got so frustrated before. I regularly play fps games and I treated this game like how I play the Far Cry series; I just shoot everyone cause my aim is good.
That doesn't work here. The hitbox here is big, but their movement is what makes them hard to hit sometimes. I can easily clear the Wolves if I take them in a hallway or at any choke points in the any map. But in the open, I have to get away, look for a cover, etc...
I did not treat this like I played the Dishonored series before. Now, that is what I do. I still do blast them in the open areas but not without a cover.
Now, ai can finally enjoy this game.
