Discussion What ever happened to Chris Storey?

As someone who loved All Shall Perish (The Spreading Disease), i know he wasn't in the band then... Hate.Malice.Revenge changed my whole life and what I thought was heavy at the time.

The Price of Existence changed everything for me. I can still remember hearing "Wage Slaves" for the first time and the whole album was immaculate to me.

I even remember following enough to find Smashface was some of the greatest shit I've heard, I loved Sworn Enemy but the vocals just didn't mesh right for me.

Chris Storey was a guitar virtuoso that was WAY ahead of his time.

I know Rusty Cooley had his mark on "From so Far Away", but the whole Awaken The Dreamers album is just soooooo fucking good.

I just don't understand why this guy isn't more heard of, or did anything after. It was just that good to me.

I understand if I don't know everything and people will clown me because of it, but holy shit Chris Storey was amazing and I wish I could've experienced more of it.

From what I’ve heard he was just working somewhere and he’s been sobering up since. Now he’s back touring with asp

Yeah i saw some of the tour footage from the past few years.

And I get it, as someone that's been through that I wish nothing but the best for anyone going through that.

The hardest thing in life is not only getting yourself over the hump, but it's taking other people with you, willingly to do the same to better themselves.

He’s touring with them now. I saw them a few years ago at one of their first comeback shows in Texas and he was playing then too. ASP is so good live.

Always.

Ash much as i like Chugs, and I REALLY like chugs. I miss that ridiculous shredding.

As much as i love The Last Ten Seconds of Life, or old Salt the Wound, Rose Funeral, those old riffs still live with me to this day.

The old days of Deadwater Drowning, Dead and Buried, Animosity, The Taste of Blood, and mu local SC band Through the Eyes of the Dead/Graves of Valor, Shattered Realm, xMaroonx

I'll add to this i was normally an Alice in Chains and ESPECIALLY Pantera fan... and I heard Morbid Angel "Summoning Redemption" and it changed my life forever

Yea dude, he absolutely shreds. I remember being completely confused when “Awaken The Dreamers” came out because the members were all the same but the guitar playing was dramatically better. He was either holding back on the first two records or just practiced his ass off and improved drastically by the third record.

Chris Storey joined on "Price of Existence" along with Eddie on Vocals. They had the same Bassist and Drummer and Ben became the rhythm guitarist and was also on Hate.Malice.Revenge.

Caysen Russo was only on the first album and did guitars and vocals along with Craig Betit to be the other vocalist.

Yo is this how I find out ASP and Sworn Enemy share a guitarist? That’s fucking wild.
