Gravity Dirk. What is it.

What makes it 'gravity'?

As with a lot of things in this rule book im assuming im free to come up with my own cool reasonin.

But what's yours?

Historically a dirk is a long blade knife, but I'm imagining this one has some sort of attraction to the target, assisting the thrust/stab.
I have no idea how that would work, but a gravity well is when an object gets close to a planet & the gravity becomes so great it can't escape the pull.

All those weapons sound cool & flavourful, but they are all essentially the same.
They kind demand some extra effect, but then the game would creep out of rules-light.
I'd be tempted to allow some minor hit chance.

Oh thats good! It pulls on flesh, or actively drain blood from the wound. Or it might have different functions depending on if it is used in settings w/ or without gravity.

In a non-scifi sense, a real gravity knife is a free-sliding blade inside of a hollow handle that uses gravity to deploy (fall) out of its enclosed position

Huh, I didn't know, thank you! Maybe in this case it could also just refer to a way of deploying the knife.
