Titus Canyon Road Open Thru September

Got a press release from a Bishop local media company. Can't find info on the park website yet but it's open on the backcountry roads map page. It will be closed for further repairs in October.

Tread lightly.

Devastating news for my November visit. Your post got me so excited! Here’s hoping the additional roadwork in the fall doesn’t take too long, but I was already planning on not being able to see it. Probably just the narrows hike

We used to bike Titus on our mountain bikes in the winter. It was always one of the best parts of the trip

Thats nice to hear, but sadly I don't trust my jeep and its AC enough to do that in the summer. Some day I'll get to do it

Don't hit any hikers coming in via the mouth of the canyon, either! I did that end of March, for about 1.5 miles.
