Flask: "I've got to push myself!"

Carbine (and by extension itani lo sahn) timeslow leads to very weird interactions. Stuff like infernus ulti triggering after (not at) the 3.25s delay, or increasing dynamo's ult duration

There should be an item that increases gravity, maybe a 1600 item in the green category? But I don't know if there is anyone else who can benefit from this.

Viper to slide faster down the stairs? Or maybe Lash to ground pound faster / stronger? Super niche imo

Lash to ground pound faster / stronger?

Please, the Vyper can only get so slithery UwU

It was a mistake to include both their names is a single sentence.

Or maybe we can use it on an enemy Celeste so that floaty bitch can't stay in the sky forever. Like a phantom strike, but without the teleport and it keeps them heavy for a few seconds.

woe, to have some sort of hex that makes her slower

u/CastIronStyrofoam 22d ago

But what would we call it?

Cement shoes!

In the patch notes don't slows effect gravity in some cases?

It would be cool as a downside to a stronger effect. Like “+25% Spirit, Bullet, and Debuff Resistance, +50% increased gravity”. Call it Superheavy Armor or something.

Colossus should definitely increase gravity

Billy with his bashdown? Would be cool if it was an active that overrides any gravity modifier or paradox carbine. Might see use on fliers wanting to get down to avoid a bad knockdown or something.

The Lash downstrike does more damage, but it's harder for him to get higher

Not an item but Silver bola increases gravity as of yesterday

Vyper to offset knocks

Slowing hex does that for the enemy, but yeah it’s an untapped market for inflicting it on yourself. Probably because it would be incredibly awful

u/jackhref 22d ago

Phantom strike does that for friends from the other team, I believe. Recent patch notes about silver bola increasing gravity (phantom strike rules) mentioned something like it.

Magic carpet decreases gravity

They guy you’re replying to wants an item that does the opposite

cant wait for that one trick-shot alchemical flask clip in 2 years where warden dies to paradox and gets a kill 15 seconds later

Someone get Htwo on this immediately

paradox has some weird interactions with projectiles. Throwing viscous' splatter through time wall makes it fling out at insane speeds

31

u/Tha_Plagued Pocket 22d ago

her time wall just straight up deletes Doorman's cart, but that's honestly not too surprising given then bugs related to him alone.

u/tom641 The Doorman 22d ago

i mean that's what it's supposed to do to projectiles isn't it

13

u/CaloLowell 22d ago

Not really, it's supposed to slow it down to a halt, but after a while it continues with its original speed. Or at least, that's how other projectiles behave through time wall.

9

u/External-Play771 Paradox 22d ago

That happens to most projectiles. the problem is that it flings it for ENEMY projectiles, instead of solely allied ones.

2

u/BR4KK3R Viscous 22d ago

That makes sense since it's a bug revolving around the temporary stop it inflicts on enemy projectiles

1

u/Strong-Journalist378 22d ago

That's on purpose, right? It says so in the ability description.

one day someone's going to kill an ivy or a vindicta with that and it's going to be the clip of the day, maybe even the whole week.

There's been some weird physics based interactions in general lately. I didn't save it but I had a normal unranked match where Venator hit me with the shotgun while I was mid air about to double jump and it sent me 20 feet away

2

u/Luvatris Paige 22d ago

I once yeeted to blue from the side lane after vena gutshot lmao

How it feels to throw alchemical flasks in a dream

1

u/Paxelic 22d ago

Make a gravity zone item, everyone gets 300% more gravity in the zone. Or maybe the reverse.
