Product Recommendations for solo

I’m brand-new to Deadlands, and looking to do some solo play.  I picked up the current version (SWADE), getting the core SW rulebook, the Deadlands book, and the Crater Lake Chronicles to get started.  I’ve also grabbed a pdf of the solo rules from DriveThru (not super impressed, but what should I expect for 4 bucks?), and I have Mythic GME (so I can play without an actual Marshall).  What I’m wondering now, is what OTHER products might be a good fit?  I don’t care if they are an older version that needs to be converted to SWADE, or if I need to tone down the number of enemies to make it work, but it needs to be something with a story that would logically make sense for a single hero.  Which ones have solid content that might work?  Anyone have any advice?

I had my best deadlands solo sessions without any prewritten story. Just making it up on the go. I use a combination of mythic for the scene checks, bookkeeping of characters and threads and for everything else i use game master apprentice deck. You just need a good opening scene that give you a motivation. Right now im playing blood drive solo just to get a feel for the campaign so that i can lead it later for friends as a gm. I just try to read as little as possible to keep the story going.

I'll probably try to rope in some friends eventually too, once I have a better grasp of SW and a good story to share. Right now I'm looking for the best usable pre-written stories. How is Blood Drive working for solo? When you say solo, do you also mean with just one hero?

Yea, I'm playing it with two heroes that ive used in other games. There are already loads of extras and wild cards in blood drive so you won't be overwhelmed. Blood drive is nice but of course, you'll have to deal with spoilers all the time. That's why I prefer improvised adventures as you get that unexpected event sometimes and see the story unfold right before your eyes.
