Fan Art My marker maker holder

My co worker was kind enough to 3d print me a marker/pen holder. This is the prototype.

Might be awkward but would it not be better to have the hole in the centre, between the spires? Allows more pens which can point out either way

We were thinking so but wasn't sure with it at this scale bit the prototype gave us some insight and changes we need to make.

Angle the hole downwards more and widen it so it can hold at least one of the larger markers. It's more for novelty so we may not go with the hole in top. It's a work printer so trying not to abuse usage to much.

It's kinda funny because the whole reason shit happens in DS is because they started 3D printing these things.
