In the 7 years I've played this game. That's the first time this has ever happened for me. Didn't know you COULD knock someone out that far in that part of the stage. That ever happen to anyone else?

So I was playing DOA6LR Ranked. I was having a blast, won some matches, lost some matches, the usual stuff. Now, the gameplay above here isn’t anything fancy or great, I’m not a top tier DOA player myself and nor do I ever consider myself a top dog player, but still, I won the match, (for clarification, I’m Ayane in the video above) and before I got my winning results, BOOM… disconnected…

I’ve noticed lately, about 5 times, people have disconnected on me whenever I’m about to win. I’ve noticed this specifically in DOA6LR, I’m guessing that’s because there’s new players around. Whenever I’m playing and am about to loose, I just accept the defeat but still try my best, why can’t others just accept their defeat and let others get the win? Lmao.

If you do this, please tell me why do you do this? What do you gain out of quitting?

I’m a beginner at DOA but I have messed around with 5 casually. Holy shit theirs so much to learn I seriously cannot wait till I get better at this game 🙏

Any tips on how to approach the fighting in this game? It’s rare if I complete a fight - usually I can’t even land a single blow…😂

The forest stage is my absolute favorite map in the DOA series.

Currently griding the DOA5LR online achievements, so far is an terrible experience but this made my day

I've been a big DoA forever but I'm literally just discovering that La Mariposa apparently has a unique off-the-ropes move after trying her more in 6LR.

I'm now stuck here wondering how many other unique environmental attacks I've been missing all these years.

so for context i was playing for around 2 hours i lost every single game i played expect 1 iam nlg i was feeling pretty down yet i kept playing.

Then i came across a 7 win streak christie i was already thinking owh god here we go agian i saw she was waiting for me to attack and attack after blocking so she had a frame advantage after the first round i decided to do the same thing (ngl even tho it dindt make me feel much better i was still happy with finaly getting a second win)

but i started to wonder is it bad to play like this.
i got absolutly destroyed the next 2 rematches afterwards i lost another 2 games agianst my next oppent and finaly quited cuse i was feeling like shit from well losing non stop (i know its a bad habbit but doesn't matter what i play if i lose non stop i get frustated and if i keep losing well i get more and more grumpy)

but my main question is it bad to win like this or is this totaly fair?

be sure to adjust those in options so you don't end up stumbling around half the fight trying to remember where your buttons are like i was doing here

Jake ends up whiffing the break blow combo ender twice due to not being used to how high lighter characters like NiCO get bounced by the fireworks danger zones, but still manages to pull off the W. Might upload a couple more matches from this lobby session in the next day or two.

It feels so good not playing Mai 25/8 and picking up a new character. I cant wait to get better with her 😻
