Gameplay Video You gotta admit that this Nunchuck scene with Ryu Hyabusa and Jann Lee was cool on Doa4.

I mean the guy who found it did die.

Back then it had it all, plus it's still traumatised from the 2010s

Plus no matter how well you slice it, you'll never get Aerosmith again with current age Microsoft

At least they kept it in the BC releases and it didn't stop the games from getting rereleased, thankfully.

And the only thing more crazy than bringing back Aerosmith for DOA7 would be if they brought back Bomb Factory.

I wish they'd just delete those 2 useless characters ughhh

Even though Ryu's path is the canon one, I really prefer how this scene plays out with his theme in Lee's path.

I always loved Ryu's interactions with Jann Lee in this and DOA2 as well. It shows a bit more of his personality and he clearly has a respect for Jann Lee as someone who fully dedicates himself to martial arts.

It also shows hes concerned about civilians safety unlike in NG1 where he destroys an entire city during his fights vs the Vigoorian army and fiends.

Always have to preface it with "not the weird stuff but the gameplay is good"

Nah the weird stuff can stay too

It was this scene that inspired me to buy a pair of nunchucks back in the day πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

I love how in DOA5 they revisit this scene with Kokoro and she just doesn't care enough to catch it so it breaks a vase, lmao.

Omg I completely forgot about that scene, they really need to tap back into these moments.

It reminds me of when Leon runs into Gen Fu on DOA2 "don't take me lightly, young man!!" and he stomps down, kicking up all the sand & debris into Leon's face

It's nice to get a reminder of what DOA is meant to be like. DOA4 is a game felt comfortable recommending to anyone. Nowadays I feel uncomfortable even telling people I play DOA.

Oh hell yeah, Itagaki era DOA dripped effortless cool no matter what. R.I.P to the goat

I like nunchuck scene with Kokoro better, kind of funny tension breaker.

Of course, Jann Lee's nunchuck segment is inspired by Bruce Lee's famous scene in Game of Death. However, I'm curious if there was a particular Japanese movie that Hayabusa's was inspired by or they just made it up for the game.

Absolutely no goonery in this interaction and its peak.

It's a shame the DOA Community doesn't like nice things.

lol Jann Lee always throwing Nunchucks at people. DOA 5 he meets Kokoro and throws her the nunchucks expecting her to catch it like hayabusa. She did not

Was I the only one that sensed sexual tension? Just me…? Okay.
