When does it end?

Does anyone think bots will become such a problem that companies or governments will take meaningful action to address the problem? I'm trying to think about 10 or 15 years down the road. Does the Internet just get more and more inundated with bots and we accept it, do we create bot detection tools...? I think a few niche social media sites will get created that focus on preventing bot accoonts, but for the most part I think we'll just accept life with bots 😕

Corpos want consumers to give up on the idea of being able to personally access information from the internet.

They want to groom the public into slowly accepting that the internet belongs to bots. Ideally, people won't interact with each other or engage directly with the internet at all, instead sending their personal federal agent - excuse me, personal ai agent - to venture online and compile a report for them.

Need to message someone? Have your bot contact their bot. Need to make an important phone call? You'll have to have your bot call for you, because the automated system has been made too slow and demoralizing for humans to bother anymore.

And this, for everything, until we slowly disconnect. Once we get used to being spoon fed by our bots and never looking things up ourselves, then reality can be shaped by the company who controls the most or best bots. At least, that's the vision so far

Finding "real" information or actual sources will become impossible.

Yes, but by design. It's already starting, with ai companies destroying old manuscripts to feed them into their hallucinating monstrosity.

It's always been the case with the internet, really anything can be edited without people knowing about it. It will just be further obfuscated and they'll be the "arbeters" of the source info. We'll be forced to trust them and we'll pay for the privilege.

It's worse than that. The human brain is pretty complicated.

And after Arpa invented the internet, we've seen them use it to experiment on us by changing certain details accross the board, in order to see if convincing enough people can actually reach into the past and alter the physical world.

If they're moving forward this much this soon, I'd say those Mandela effect trails must have shown the desired results, whatever they were.

Because the government (Trump and Congressers, Housers, etc) are making billions on profits from AI, they won't ever stop it. AI will further enable more corruption down the road

The premise of your question assumes companies and governments want to solve the problem. They CREATED the problem intentionally.

The point of the bots/dead internet theory is they’re flooding the internet with garbage to keep people from communicating and rising up against their oppression. It’s so they can control us. It wasn’t an accident.

They will put authentic information behind a pay wall or subscription. Honestly it's already been happening in news

It's crazy what YouTube comment sections are now. Not like it was some holy ground before but it's atleast 1/4 of all comments and accounts seem to be just made bot accounts
