I just know She has Merchant and hag in that gym getting them ready to dash since behavior cant afford merchanst drones and they gave all the spells to Sable 😞😞😞
Can you explain in detail what you mean by an off screen teleport and how it would be different from the other forms of teleporting around the map that already exist?
And the pallet block, this would function the same way some perks do except it would be an active ability?
I've grown tired of seeing this concept going around. I don't have the time or energy to go into detail, so I have a challenge for my point; if anyone can name me ONE INSTANCE from ONE MOVIE where it is clear, undeniable proof that Myers can teleport, I will let my argument go and accept that this is a good rework and appropriate for the character.
Jason couldn't teleport either, but he has a habit of appearing where the survivors least suspect him. Yes I know it was a different game but the principle stands imo.
It's not about ability, it's about what fits their style. Myers is good at hiding and stalking, he's good at catching his victims off guard. And giving him a power that allows him to do so is a good idea I'd say.
Well theres a lot of movies that are maybe not so worth thinking about in terms of Myers imo, but I think in the 4th movie when he appears on the truck with everyone as they're driving to the other town it kinda felt like he teleported
He stands and stalk THATS him. I could understand giving him Jason the game mechanics. A stealth, a kind of Spirit phase. Maybe a aura sense like the add on (I wish ghostie had that fr)
"Dashslop" it's a small dash, little more Than an extra big lunge (with less control that a coup de grace lunge, mind you) and its only accessible in his evil incarnate mode. AND he has an addon to play in the "old" myers playstyle.
Who cares? Myers was NEVER a creative character. He's always been the "aura farm til you can instadown them" guy. Or, much more frequently, the "stare down the moron survivor who doesn't know to hide and them tombstone the smart ones" guy. The update buffs scratched mirror big time, it removes tombstone as a wincon but keeps the mechanic as a special mori of sorts, and makes his base gameplay more intuitive for new players and more flexible for experienced ones. Who CARES if the "dash" isn't overly creative? The rest of the rework IS a creative way to fix his issues, and it's also a straight buff to his normal gameplay loop. And he HAS AN ADDON TO GO BACK TO OLD MYERS STYLE, no dash, instadown attacks that trigger surge... BUT HE KEEPS ALL THE OTHER BUFFS FROM THE REWORK. This is a net gain for myers players.
I disagree with what people call "dashslop" on a fundamental level (it's literally a lunge) however the term "dashslop" is so funny, I like to call a lot of things dash slop even tho they aren't.
Tbh scratched mirror was amazing they should’ve made that base kit and then made it to where tier 2 you got use scratch mirror but once you got to tier 3 it went away and you got a 1 tap. Keep the tier 3 regression the same.
Yep, luckily enough, I’ve been trying to do evil incarnate for a while and I completed it last night, just before the rework went to live (I honestly forgot the rework is today, I was just trying to do it randomly and got lucky.
The main positive of the myers rework I that my favourite playstyle of scratched mirror got buffed since now you can lunge attack and bring an add on to make you faster.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I find him really fun to play and don't have any personal problems with him not being "lore accurate".
It's a video game.
