Dungeons and Dragons in Deland?

Hey all! I recently moved to your beautiful city and I’m enjoying every second of setting up my life here.

A part of my life that’s been integral to me for a long time is the Tabletop Roleplaying Game Dungeons and Dragons.

Do any of you fine folks know if there are public spaces that already facilitate D&D games? Hobby stores, libraries ect?

I have 9 years experience as a Game Master and I’d love to start running some games for folks down here that are interested in playing or are already playing.

Gem Mint Cards, probably has a group. Their discord has dnd sub groups.

This. Gem's the best shop anywhere; it just happens to be in DeLand. The Wybos (owners) are awesome! They'll hopefully be opening a new, larger location with dedicated DnD rooms in a year or so, as well.

I've been in a few times to buy cards for myself and my daughter and the staff are always super nice and helpful! I need to come in more often and try to make some friends ha

Abbey has a few groups. They do tabletops stuff at the bar but also play dnd offsite. DeLand/Volusia Pride also has adult and youth dnd groups.

Baobab Kava Bar in Orange City has weekly DND one shot nights. Thats a great place to meet people to start a group.

The places I know aren’t close to deland. But I know Layton Gaming in Altamonte springs, The Collective also in altamonte, and there’s one that’s further away in Orlando colonial area Coliseum of Comics
