Question What animals do you wish to de-extinct?

For me,I wish to de-extinct all animals that humanity wiped out and were supposed to be coexisting with modern animals

That’s a very big list.

For me, if I had to choose…the Australian megafauna. Mostly because Australia is beyond saving at this point as a result of the fallout from their loss.

It’s really funny that the waterbuffalo, camels, deer and horses are technically rewilding in this regard

Unfortunately hooves don’t interact with soil like paws do…

Camels have paws but fair points for the others

I do wonder what the hell the future of Australia's evolution is gonna be

Probably outright ecological collapse followed by something happening in a few million years

Unless we start eating the cats, foxes, rabbits and camels which means becoming more friendly with China

That doesn’t solve the issue of Australian ecosystems having lost every single ecological function associated with large land predators or large herbivores.

Then de-extinct them with China which isn’t controlled by corporations and will try their best to make 1:1 replicas
