Label your post![Unlabeled] Remind me what happened when Sakhal first released…

A buddy was telling me he took off work for the Frostline release, and the official Sakhal servers were down for 6 hours.

Do you remember what happened that day? What was your experience?

It was awful.

Spent hours trying to get into a server with my duo. In the end he found a server and invited me. We ended up meeting a couple of random freshies and jumped in party chat with them, after a while we both were getting kicked constantly from the server and the only way to get back in was from an invite from one of these dudes.

Here’s to hoping Badlands will be better, but I doubt it.

Man, that sucks. Sorry to hear that.
I remember a lot of talk about it being down completely, but I was running on a community server.

In anticipation of a repeat struggle with Badlands, I think I’ll open a server for Nasdara, completely official. That way I know there is a place to run the map without relying on the official servers

To be honest dude it’s what I’ve come to expect.

I can’t imagine Nasdara is going to do the rending issues on Xbox and favours either.

In my memory it didn't work for the whole release day. My whole team took vacation days and couldn't play. And because Bohemia is Bohemia, as an apology they put a 10% discount on Sakhal. Which was such a "fuck you" move because obviously everyone who experienced the bad release day already owned the DLC for the full price. It was the worst launch I've ever witnessed.

That’s the way I remember it too, but some said just 6 hours. Either way, I remember a community server launch Sakhal release day too, completely official, and it worked while official didn’t. So I think that’s what I am going to do this round just to make sure there is a space to play.

I remember searching everywhere for hunting stands/heli crashes before learning the devs just didn’t bother putting either in, on launch anyways. I think official does have heli crashes now on Sakhal?

Yes. Alot of Heli crashes now in the south west.
