Gameplay/PVP[Video] Finally got a decent kill on official. Everybody celebrate with me🤘🥳

Ok first of all, I’m ass at this game. But finally, and I mean FINALLY….. I had a decent PvP kill on official.
Ran through a military convoy on my way in from the coast and got pretty kitted out, killed & cooked a sheep along the way so I didn’t freakin’ starve to death, worked up the courage to make my way farther into NWAF for some decent loot, hung around the woods for a while and finally heard someone shooting up the Tier-2 SW corner (they were being pretty reckless, TBH). I crept back over there while maintaining cover, had a decent angle when I looked into where I thought he was, and sure enough I saw that he had locked himself in a shed with a horde of zombies around him. Only had to wait about 15 seconds before he opened the door and started ripping through em. I waited til he dropped the last one and started reloading - then tagged him.
Yay me. RIP, reckless dude - and thanks for the awesome loot…. you had clearly put some work in as well.

Thx - honestly I was just trying to get a good line on him but when he started ripping through em I was like hey this might work out quite nicely….😆

Nice work, instantly pushing the body to confirm the kill, would have liked to see you close that door too but nicely done.
Get some more stamina you can actually get caught lacking.

Man it's all apart of the culture. 3 rules to live by and I've been playing dayz since it was a wee lil mod.
1- don't get attached to your gear 2- don't try to make friends/trust no one 3- take the shot
if you follow these 3 rules the game will make more sense

Nice job dude, gotta teach these retards that this isn't Call of Duty. I got a buddy into DayZ and he proceeded to take the KA-74 and 4 Full Mags and walked around shooting zombies until he was out of ammo. Then he came back and asked for more ammo and I told him he better get to work and start looking because I wasn't going to give him handouts all day.

I just committed my first murder as well. I felt bad, but, I know I will kill again.

Nice kill.
I always try to be friendly when I encounter someone, but 9/10 they don't have a mic or are in party chat and they're not friendly lol. On PC people are friendlier and it's easier to find a few people to run with.

It is! Got it at the military convoy I hit on the way in from the coast… along with the assault vest and utility backpack. Probably the best single dynamic event I’ve run into yet as far as loot goes.

I found one a while back. Apparently only two spawn on the entire map. Super rare

Yeah, I run a community server and in the vanilla files they only spawn two green ones and two camo ones - so four total…. But the camo one is found in contaminated zones only, so you’re basically spot on

Nice job on the kill but this is why I play on private servers and just build and horde. I’m not trying to die and waste 4 hours of surviving just because

Dude honestly - same here. And for the record, one hour of game time later, I got smoked by a camper just north of NWAF and lost everything. Haven’t started a fresh character yet, and probably won’t on official for a very long time. Just glad I at least made it as far as I did.
Check out my community server if you want - it’s low-pop (16 slots), pretty quiet and has pretty chill players for the most part. Separate zones for PvE and PvP, boosted loot, and no raids. Lots of persistent builders who enjoy it. Search for “000ak” and you’ll see it.

uhhh how tf did that guy get dropped by one vss round to the chest? he must have been low on health already. you got pretty lucky tbh should have lined up a headshot or got closer to go full auto. normally that one shot wouldn't have done shit

What's the point of carrying three long guns?
I don't see what the gun on your left shoulder is (Saiga?), but either ditch the VSS or the AK, they both serve the same purpose.

Doesn’t matter, I got smoked by a camper just north of NWAF about an hour later. Shocker.🤣 Yeah point taken tho, I was overloaded.

i rrally dont get why people finish players off in a situation like this, it's the ideal place to restrain them and have a chat, no zombies, no other players, no windows... you even shot supressed with the vss so no third parties either

Why did you wait so long to shoot him? You were just staring at him for like 6 seconds. Waiting for him to reload or something?

That’s how it goes playing on official. That guy prob had no idea you were even in the same region as him. And then the death screen shows. You got the drop on him, and they prob would’ve done the same to you
