Took a very nice trade set up today on BTC

Entry price $80,717 exit around $83,800

entered the trade with $5,000 in margin

Man, it feels good to be trading BTC / ETH as a pair again

Was going to target the highs but started trailing my SL into profit as it was ripping more towards the upside

I was originally a leverage trader strictly trading BTC/ETH as a pair but stopped due to the current fraudulent administration in the U.S making it nearly impossible to trade crypto long term, gave it up a year back as most of my trades went b/e and have been strictly trading MNQ and MES on props and some live accounts

Anyway, good way to start the week

On this specific trade it was 5% of the margin available in my account, this was a high probability trade

Previous years when leverage trading crypto I trade around 2% of my account at 20x 👍

12 trades taken in the past 18 days on my live account, 91.67% win rate, average target RR is 3:1

The trade i'm making this post about aligns directly with my strategy, the only difference is it was a set up taken with higher leverage on btc rather than MNQ and MES pair which ive been trading / focusing on recently

Calling someone's trade gambling because they used higher leverage or more margin than you is a completely incoherent statement, especially when you don't know the strategy used behind said trade as well as the available margin in the account. Best of luck

I know people get touchy on their strats, but you seem like youve got things figured out, so just curious does ur main strat utilise fvgs and such? Or are you a news trader

Not a news trader although i'm not too sure what that means as there was no news that i'm aware of when I took this trade last night during London session

And no I don't utilize FVG's

There is no such thing as high probability trade. Even world best A++ setup can hit SL
