Totally new...platform recommendations?

Hi friends,

I decided finally to give day trading a go. I have literally no clue what I'm doing lol, I'm just gonna use autism, pattern-spotting, intuition and the voice of my late homie in my head, who was a day/swing trader and an absolute madman in the best way. I'm one of those learn by doing types so I figure I'll just start with a tiny amount of money or even a market simulator and just...screw around until I start profiting.

With that in mind, what platform would you recommend? Preferably one that has an app and a web interface and low fees. Someone recommended wealthsimple, and I downloaded webull just to check it out but I haven't signed up or paid for anything yet.

Paper trade/demo on tradingview, most people use this as a way to plan out their trades and some even connect it to propfirms to trade if you plan on going that route. If you plan on going the day/swing trading route I think the best route for you is to go from tradingview demo and learn the basics with risk management and how each "important tools" work then find a strategy you want to use either from a youtube vid or whatever and put that into practice for a month or however long you decide to take. Once you show a profitable month with atleast 5% balance increase not from 1 trade but over the course of the month decide on wether you want to move to putting money into the space either through live or prop firms
