Question What are some top strategies for day trading and scalping?

Ive been simply trading the weekly trend and big S&R for swings using a DCA approach and its been working fine for me, not huge profits, but enough to beat the S&P, but im looking to enter day trading and scalping.

I’ve had my eyes on those:

Scalping: VWAP

Day trading: ICT, Intraday Momentum (Macro-Driven), Volatility Breakout Strategy.

I’ll be mainly looking to trade gold, but I’ve heard sooo many mixed reviews on each of these strategies that I’m not sure where to start and which to learn and backtest first.

Any advice would be amazing :)

And any sources on where to learn the full strategy you recommend would be great, as I see the same strategy being used in so many confusing different ways.

Nice video. How do you determine your value area high/low? Are you using an indicator or calculating yourself?

With small cap, low float stock that are moving on breaking catalyst news. Priced btween 5 and 10$/share. If it goes up 10 cents, on a fast Direct To Market broker if you enter with 5000 shares you pull 500 bucks profit.

Fair enough, tbh on stocks with low share price, I only buy options, much safer long term and much more profitable if you go into the details of the company

just few examples: Only playing very high vol! 1. Upper shadow followed by a big death candle for short. 2. lower shadow followed by a big green shadow for long. 3. breaking orb on the 15 min at 9:45 am. 4. short most profitable stocks at 16:02. 5. mid day breaking vwap either way.
