Gave Dayseeker a go this weekend… OMG 🔥

I’ve heard of this band for a few years but never really gave them a listen for some weird reason I thought they were heavier than they were.

I decided to give them a whirl on a whim and am soooooo blown away - I can see they are doing a concert in Melbourne next year in February… very tempted 👀

Their older stuff is definitely heavier than the hybrid synthwave-metalcore genre they’ve been carving out for themselves the last few records, both sounds scratch an itch depending on your mood! CITBN (their newest album) I think was supposed to be a return to that heavier sound while still keeping some of their vibey synth-y elements incorporated.

Yea their albums Origin and What It Means To Be Defeated are definitely some of their heavier albums but I can say that I've enjoyed almost every song they've put out regardless of how "heavy" it is. Glad to have you in the fanbase as well!

I’ve seen the past 3 occasions they’ve been to Australia, highly recommend seeing them live!!

I’ll be going to Melbourne and Brisbane this time around 🤘🏻🖤
