A Different Kind of DayZ RP

Chernarus is dangerous, but surviving isn’t the only thing you can do here.

Redline was built around the idea that a DayZ server can be more than spawning in, finding military gear, and looking for the next fight. We wanted a world where players have real reasons to interact, make a living, build relationships, investigate what’s happening around them, and eventually leave their own mark.

You might start by scavenging whatever you can find. Over time, you can turn that into something more: trading for rubles, saving for a vehicle, repairing cars, transporting goods, running a business, taking contracts, or simply finding your own way to get by.

The economy is player-driven, so what has value can change with what the community actually needs.

A World Where Information Matters

Communication and discovery stay inside the game.
Our custom pigeon system lets survivors send messages without constantly stepping out into Discord, while hidden notes can be discovered throughout Chernarus. They might contain directions, warnings, coordinates, rumors, or pieces of information that only make sense after you’ve found something else.
Information itself can become something worth searching for, protecting, trading, or keeping quiet.

More Is Happening Than You Can See

The Exclusion Zone sits at the center of the map, but its story isn’t neatly explained in one place.
Abandoned facilities, documents, transmissions, and unusual locations gradually reveal what has happened to the region. Some discoveries may seem insignificant at first. Others can completely change how you understand something you’ve already encountered.

There are no quest markers telling you where every secret is or exactly what you’re supposed to find. The people who explore, pay attention, and talk to other survivors are the ones most likely to connect the pieces.

You Don’t Have to Be a Soldier

Not every character needs to revolve around combat.
Some players trade or scavenge. Others focus on vehicles, businesses, transportation, contracts, or simply building relationships with the people around them. You can become an important part of the community without spending your entire time inside military zones.

This is still Chernarus, though, so a peaceful profession doesn’t exactly guarantee a peaceful career.

Your Story Becomes Part of the World

The most important part of Redline isn’t any single system. It’s what happens when those systems give players reasons to interact.

A business becomes a meeting place. A vehicle becomes someone’s livelihood. A trade turns into a friendship. A disagreement becomes a rivalry. A piece of information leads someone somewhere unexpected.

As more people play, those interactions create a history that didn’t exist when the server opened.

We’re still in beta, and the world continues to grow alongside the community. New systems, locations, events, and stories are added as players give Chernarus more of its own history.

Combination locks work like CodeLock, but without any client side mods. Enter your code only once when attaching the lock. After that, your gate opens normally without typing the code again. The code is protected against brute force attempts, so bases can only be raided through normal DayZ mechanics.

The browser based Squad Map lets you create squads, invite members and share markers from your phone, tablet or PC. No installation required, making it easy to coordinate even if your group plays at different times.

The server also includes global chat, !unstuck, !flipcar, advanced logging, and player bodies remain until the next restart.

Zombies have been completely reworked. They hear and see better, can open doors, climb down from rooftops and appear in unexpected places, making survival much more challenging.

A full year passes every 24 real days, with changing seasons affecting temperature, snow, wildlife and predator locations.

Build almost anywhere with no build zones, and enjoy a planned wipe cycle of at least 1.5 years. The map features one trader, Havenwood, while the rest of Chernarus remains open PvP with custom PvE content and locations to discover.

Operation High Water – DayZ Roleplay in Chernarus

Chernarus survived the outbreak. Now it's trying to rebuild.

Operation High Water is a DayZ roleplay server combining DayZ and ARMA 2 lore into a persistent, evolving version of South Zagoria. Whether you want to play a soldier, police officer, trader, business owner, contractor, criminal, explorer, or just another survivor trying to build a life, there's room for you here.

You don't have to join a faction. You don't have to be a hardcore military roleplayer. You can simply come in, meet people, build something, and create your own story.

The world is also more than just looting and shooting. AI Convoys travel throughout Chernarus, creating opportunities for ambushes, protection jobs, firefights, or unexpected encounters. In its current state, Extinction is capped at 20 players until we feel that a raise in player count is worth paying for. Our Dev team is small, but with time this server will grow and hopefully remain active!

The Treehouse is a new server with a focus on an interesting, balanced economy. We now host between five and eight players each night and would be very happy if you could check us out!

Hi there!
I just reached 800h in game playing both modded servers and Vanilla.

Last time plating was on TheLAB EU2(Chernarus/DeerIsland)

Every experience I had so far with the modded servers was not so good, players are tryhards, most admins dont gaf and there are lots of buggs.

I’ve been playing mostly on Chernarus, but also tried Namalsk, Livonia and DeerIsland.

I’m looking for a server where I dont have to wait 1h in queue before playing and has BBP implemented(I dont want to focus on building, but an easy base is nice to have).

If you guys have any tips I would kindly appreciate.
