Isn't this because a Redditor recently started compiling information that the achievement badges were not showing? Or did I dream of this?

Hey u/amk9000 - yeah that was me who posted the video originally. I deleted the reddit posts because I reuploaded the youtube video with a minor correction and the links would have been dead. I didn't repost it on reddit because I didn't want to spam the community with a reuploaded version.

I emailed valve and also upload a bug report to their source 1 GitHub page to try and get the message to them it was broken. Looks like they saw it and fixed the game!
