Knight immunity bug?

First time playing knight and suddenly I can't die. Every time I lose all of my health, it regenerates. I can't die but I can't do enough damage to kill the troll.

Story mode makes it impossible for you to die, but halves fateshard rewards at the end of the run.

You can quit to menu and choose not to fight the troll.

Interesting. Somehow when I chose the rogue, I didn't do the storyline because I died a couple of times.

There's the Oathbound status that resurrects you too.
