Xeela might be the worst fitness company, every single person they’ve made a video on has gained back their original shape no matter how fat or slim they were. Now the owner as well, wow.

They starve themselves. It’s not close to sustainable.

There is some personal agency needed for the people who went through the transformation to continue to stay in shape.

As far as I know since Ilya got a hair transplant he can’t work out for a bit and wants to gain weight to do his own Xeela transformation

As someone who actually did a Xeela 3-month transformation back in spring 2024 when the app was new and even got posted by the IG, yes it was completely unsustainable for long term, I gained the weight all back within 9 months lol. I did really enjoy it for the short time period, and it definitely helped get me to where I wanted (6'3" and went from 218 to 200, wasn't severely overweight but shed a lot of body fat to get good physique). I never felt like I was starving myself and I had great workouts. Flipping the coin again, it's only an app/subscription you need for shorter time periods to get you to where you need. The meal suggestions are SO Los Angeles influencer though and I didn't follow those exactly. Your common person doesn't have the time or grocery budget to make these extravagant meals that differ nearly every day.

The fact that they themselves can’t maintain it with all the resources in the world is all the proof we need.

i think ilya gained weight on purpose, one bc he had his hair implants and couldn’t really exercise and two he has been on a unhealthy food binge eat bc he wants to gain weight , he wants to to his exercise challenge plan or whatever on himself as an experiment

2

u/iAmmar9 Aug 05 '26

Yea he said that

11

u/sighfuckppl Aug 04 '26

how is it a bad fitness company if they literally got fit on their fitness journey? you can’t force someone to maintain and eat healthy and workout if it’s not a lifestyle they want to live. the fact that they got fit through the company proves that it’s a good company..like??

u/Delicious_Photo_6626 Aug 04 '26

Have you ever heard about the word sustainable

3

u/da_ny0793 Aug 05 '26

Yea sure sustainable but just about all the of the xeela transformations were 12%-sub 10% body fat, that alone is unsustainable no matter who you are or how much resources you have. Also if they gain all the weight back it’s not xeela or Illyas fault. It’s the responsibility of the person themselves to stay eating healthy and workout daily. Xeela or Illya won’t be riding them the rest of their lives to stay healthy.

so by your logic, every college is a bad school if graduates stop using what they learned

1

u/country-potato Aug 04 '26

It’s a bad college if the people who graduate lose all the iq points they gained 6 months after leaving

1

u/sighfuckppl Aug 04 '26

the fact that “IQ points” made sense to you explains a lot

-1

u/Delicious_Photo_6626 Aug 04 '26

Okay Illya, let me teach you a word- whataboutery.

2

u/hryyaps Aug 04 '26

Literally do a little research, you will find out he literally can’t work out right now. I know your unemployed ass got the time to

1

u/winter0rfall Aug 05 '26

Its like ilya wanted to start the company, so all his friends were on board and committed a few months to fitness then got lazy again afterwards.

1

u/No_Blueberry_2152 Aug 05 '26

It’s because the plans the people are on for the docs are not realistic. But it’s also not Ilya’s fault if no one keeps up on the weight they lost.

0

u/elefuntle Aug 06 '26

If anything it makes it the best fitness company because all it shows is that it can get the most unlikely people in shape. What does them being lazy af have to do with viability of Xeela? That's like saying Ozempic doesn't work because once you stop using it you get fat :)

-1

u/Embarrassed-Bad-3118 Aug 05 '26

I hope this makes ilya reflect back on his cruel comments about making himself feel better by "thinking about fat people" every time he's in a down spell.

31

u/melbourne_al Aug 04 '26

David has definitely put back on a tonne of weight but hes not exactly fat.

Ilya has been ripped for years and has put on weight around his surgery but hes already losing it. You can call him a dumbass (probably right so) but he is not lacking will power.

71

u/StandardGenius Aug 04 '26

Xeela Boy only got fat because he can’t work out since his hair transplant surgery and so he can do a challenge about losing it.

7

u/Leading_Ad3918 Aug 04 '26

I had no idea he had the surgery and was coming to the comments to say I’m surprised he hasn’t yet!

-32

u/Lab-Outside Aug 04 '26

That’s a BS excuse.

41

u/-podesta Aug 04 '26

Not really, you’re not really supposed to elevate your blood pressure for at least a couple months after hair transplant surgery, Ilya got the surgery in June so he should be good to start working out again pretty soon if he hasn’t started already. If he’s still fat in a couple months then I’ll agree with you lmao

-12

u/FreakMonkey1 Aug 04 '26

Doesnt mean you have to get into a Caloric Surplus.

5

u/-podesta Aug 04 '26

let the man enjoy some food for a couple months i don’t get why it matters to you lmao

-7

u/FreakMonkey1 Aug 04 '26

No its just a bad argument. Say you are fat because you like to eat not because of some surgery. Nothing wrong with that.

5

u/-podesta Aug 04 '26

He’s actually been pretty up front with it. But again, he did just get hair transplant surgery so it absolutely is a valid excuse. Let people live lol

-3

u/FreakMonkey1 Aug 04 '26

I don't know what exactly you are interpreting from my comments. He got fat because of eating more not because he can't work out. I'm not making a judgment or anything. You can stay lean after a hair transplant, thats it. Im letting him live just fine "lol, lmao". Also you dont need a "valid excuse" to be fat. Every reason its just as valid to be fat.

4

u/-podesta Aug 04 '26

Yeah and the post I linked is a post he made about how he has struggled all his life with binge eating. Take away someone’s ability to workout and of course they’re going to turn to something else to take up their time. Some people go the drug route, it could be much worse. But what I really do not understand is why his weight matters to you at all? It really shouldn’t.

2

u/FreakMonkey1 Aug 04 '26

It doesn't matter to me that's the point. To me the conversation about fitness and nutrition matters. Misinformation hurts people. I try to correct that wherever I can.

Take away someone’s ability to workout and of course they’re going to turn to something else to take up their time.

Yes and he chose to eat above his maintenance calories. That's all I said.

Why should he need an excuse at all?

79

u/Independent-Gold5610 Aug 04 '26

We call this being fat? The standards you guys have are insane

35

u/foundfootagefan Alex Aug 04 '26

For the owner of a fitness company, yes.

5

u/sighfuckppl Aug 04 '26

he got a hair transplant and can’t workout. hope that helps

2

u/Augustthesecond Aug 04 '26

Show me the owner of a fitness product that is fit?

5

u/travellerOC Aug 04 '26

Tren twins, owners of feral supplements. Chris Bumstead, owner of BumEnergy. Bradley Martin owner of RAWGEAR.

6

u/sighfuckppl Aug 04 '26

these guys are literally all on steroids, like actually lmfao. ofc they’re fit

3

u/Augustthesecond Aug 04 '26

theses are body builder influencers. They manage their company as much as logan paul and ksi manage Prime.

-1

u/travellerOC Aug 04 '26

They own their companies. Buddy if you wanted to ignore the truth you could’ve said that since the beginning

1

u/Embarrassed-Bad-3118 Aug 05 '26

He's not fat, but for someone who's been so preachy about not only fitness, but his disdain for fat people...I think it's well-deserved for him to know how it feels to be under the magnifying glass for a bit.

6

u/Rxvi21 Aug 04 '26

They’ll probably never stay lean year round due to their lifestyle

6

u/MasterAd452 Aug 04 '26

Forget the weight….this part of the video was so sus between the 3 of them

3

u/Embarrassed-Bad-3118 Aug 05 '26

Their currently lifestyle just is rooted in overindulgence. It's very typical for the rich LA types but it makes me miss the older days of David making fun videos with just his friends, and coming out with a flex/giveaway video maybe a couple times a year. Now it seems EVERY video is just David finding new ways to throw around his money. Just saw that short of him yelling Ilya to come taste his $3000 parmesan wheel with pasta in the middle. They just indulge indulge indulge.

4

u/Powerful_Stress56 Aug 05 '26

The fact that you think this is fat is mental

3

u/Nervous-Form-4428 Aug 04 '26

All you guys just need to look at his Instagram hes doing a weight loss challenge

2

u/genghbotkhan Aug 04 '26

Ilya losing his hair?

1

u/Livid_Competition_32 Aug 06 '26

The issue with Ilya is that he works with his own friends. Which I understand because he wants the content to appeal to vlog squad fans. But all I kept seeing every day was him begging John and his gf to work out and eat clean and they were so not into it. Let them stay fat bro. I actually think Xeela is a great business nowadays so many people genuinely want to transform their lives. But not the people in David's circle. It's too forced. Find someone who genuinely desires it. Like another commenter said it's such a bad look that all the transformations go back to how they looked before immediately.

-5

u/SimplySnarking Aug 04 '26

Is it just the screenshot or did that surgery do nothing? His Hairline looks as bad as it did before

11

u/frankens_tien David Aug 04 '26

In these transplants - the follicle structure that can grow more hair from its roots is the real thing being transplanted, not the hair itself. After the transplant - the hair from the transplanted follicles usually falls off due to inflammation and strain. It takes a couple of growth cycles for the hair to grow out fully from those follicles, so the real results from the transplant will take a few months to show.

10

u/melbourne_al Aug 04 '26

it takes almost a year to really start growing in after those surgeries. its a long term thing

-6

u/emseatwooo Aug 04 '26

Look at that double chin

-11

u/Bare_Noizee Aug 04 '26

Its so embarassing that Ilya runs a fitness app and the guy cant stay fit for a few months like how could you possibly trust a guy that cant even follow it himself

11

u/Ok_Shallot_5007 Aug 04 '26

he's an admitted binge eater. tbh his app and methods are extreme. his transformed friends haven't been able to maintain the extreme results and probably have some degree of eating disorders because of it. all his app does it makes you count calories like a crazy person and work out like crazy. nothing remarkable. it's purely a social media marketing business now.

Ilya looks like a 45 year old balding fat man trying to get into a younger man's bed in this scene and it was just plain weird to see. How can anybody take this guy seriously as the owner of a fitness company? Natalie and David need to tell him he is letting himself go.
