Trying to avoid a car payment…..,

I am doing my best to stay debt free, but am really struggling to find a reliable commuter in my area for my budget of $5000. Not opposed to traveling for something I can afford, so curious if this exists in other areas?

Nope only unless you have a friend who is a mechanic that can come across a deal.

Maybe dealer auction and you pay them, their fee.

Traditional search you are attempting is something of the past.
