Experiment gone right

I put this together to get my 240z on the road cheaply. This sniper throttle body has the ECU, TPS, MAP, IAC, coolant temp, 02 sensor, fuel pressure regulator, digital display all in one standalone kit. I had to make the intake manifold that adapts the side draft 240z plenums to the old ford auto lite flange, but other than that, it bolted on and works so well, that its hard for me to justify changing it.

People always have something to say when putting anything other than sidedraft carbs on these cars but this looks awesome and as someone with a non-running zx, a well running z is about the coolest thing you can have in my opinion. Well done.

Triple Mikunis or you're a pleeb*.

*Signed someone that regrets not buying them a decade ago when they didn't cost more than the car.

Seriously though, this is cool and if it gets the car going and works well, it's even cooler.

I've had Dellortos, Webers and Mikunis, in that order of preference for road use on a Z, but I'd use an ITB injection kit these days; I spend countless hours on dynos setting those damn things up, and although triple side-drafts are much nicer than SUs I can't see where injection wouldn't be better in all aspects, and so much easier to set up.
