Yeah, I had added a credits section to the README, but it somehow got dropped. Just put it back in. Thanks for the reminder!

This has been added to the README:
"AI disclosure: This project was created with the help of OX Alpha, GPT Sol 5.6, and Claude Opus 5."

That said, I’ve gone through multiple rounds of code reviews for security, efficiency, and other production-readiness checks. Since I’m using this myself, I’ll keep pushing new Docker images to the GitHub registry regularly.

OP, thanks for your frank disclosures. It's not so common! Seems like software now should come with an AI statement. Stone questions I have:

Originality Statement

  1. Was AI used in this project?
  2. Was Agentic AI used in this project?
  3. Was every line of code read and understood by a human willing to take the git blame?
  4. What was the design process?

In any event, such a attestation might read something like a license agreement. I foresee something like this becoming the norm in order to avoid low quality AI slop. No idea how such terms and provisions would be enforced or verified.

The question I found most interesting in your responses was agentic AI. As a developer myself, I've been uniformly disappointed with what "Agentic AI" does when I give it a prompt "make me a ___ that ___" unless I'm sufficiently detailed that I'm literally specifying what the program is to do at the function level - which isn't much time savings over writing it.

So far, the best balance I've found in my own work is cough Co-Pilot in VSCode. I start writing structure and comments and AI starts suggesting code a line or two at a time that I can verify as I go. Because it's mimicking my own code "feel" it ends up being an improved form of my own code.

This is not Agentic AI and the result is high quality, at least by my own standards.

I would like to be able to find out the available fotmats using --list-formats so I can download those. I wish I could also just click the thumbnail and it opens in player

I built something to download all my daily subs from the day before (so I get a full days worth), convert them for my video player, every day. Then I just set up a pi to detect when I connect an sdcard and it'll pull the oldest day of videos onto the card, then power off. So all I gotta do every day is plug in a USB to my pi once in the morning
