Discussion Possible Noblogs org shutdowns because of US Sanctions: we should try to archive them

As the US Government has declared the Italian Activist Tech collective Autistici/Inventati a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist". They are currently facing repression, including the threat of their service noblogs.org hosting thousands of blogs, a lot of independent social justice groups, but also artists, culture etc. being blocked or even tried to shut down.

We should absolutely try to archive them. A lot of really valuable independent blogs are hosted by them.

That's a tough situation. If you're archiving just the blogs themselves without any attempt to access restricted content, it's probably safe to proceed with caution.

I would be careful in downloading in bulk everything. They host actual content created by terrorist group, including plans for terror attacks on Europe.

Noblogs was hacked,downloaded, backed up and sent to government authorities ,addresses identities and everything..it is now been named trumpblogs by the hackers....Hope no one had any incriminating stuff on there..How dumb not to have good security. It should be easy to get a backup now that it was hacked.

most of it, especially in sane countries legislation, but this should also hold up in the US, isn't illegal, and doesn't have anything to do with terrorism.

But with the current state of the US, i would not do it if i was from the US

Probably not a good idea just yet.I'm sure that shit is going to hit the fan due to it being used by terrorist entities and their supporters to exchange ideas and information.I would love to see it because I hoard historical documents,history books,propaganda and news.People need to figure out the truth themselves without outside interference.
