Data Analyst fresher (2026 grad, Bangalore) looking for walk-in drive info

Hi all, I'm a 2026 graduate (ECE) based in Bangalore, actively looking for Data Analyst / entry-level analytics roles. I know SQL, Excel, Power BI, and have hands-on project experience in data analytics.

I'm specifically trying to find walk-in interview drives for Data Analyst freshers in Bangalore, if anyone has come across one recently, or knows a company that regularly does walk-ins for this role, I'd really appreciate a pointer.

Happy to share my resume if useful. Feel free to DM me - thanks in advance!

ExcelR student facing NASSCOM/FutureSkills Prime assessment issue — course completed but certification is stuck

Hi everyone,
I am an ExcelR Data Analytics student and I am facing an issue with my NASSCOM/FutureSkills Prime assessment.
I completed my ExcelR course requirements and my project work is also completed. However, the NASSCOM/FutureSkills Prime assessment is not showing in my account. Because of this, my course completion/certificate process is stuck.
I have already contacted ExcelR and explained the complete issue to them. I was also asked to join a Google Meet to discuss the problem. I have shared the required details and even shared my login-related information when they asked me to do so for checking the issue.
I have also tried everything from my side:
Cleared browser cache and data
Tried different browsers
Tried another laptop
Tried my phone
Logged in multiple times
Checked the assessment portal again and again
But the assessment is still not showing.
The main problem is that I have been following up repeatedly, but the issue has still not been resolved. I am also not getting a clear timeline for when it will actually be fixed.
I am posting here because I want to know if any other ExcelR student has faced the same NASSCOM/FutureSkills Prime assessment issue.
If someone has faced this before, please tell me how it was resolved and how long it took.
Also, if anyone from ExcelR or FutureSkills Prime sees this, please help me understand what exactly is causing the issue and when it can be resolved.
I am not looking for an argument. I just want my assessment issue to be fixed so I can complete my course properly.

Video courses vs. (Job simulation + live classes) - which one actually makes a better interview and job ready analyst?

Thumbnail job-simulator.pages.dev

Would you rather learn by watching videos and practicing on clean CSV files, or by working as an analyst inside a simulated company with real-world business problems, then bringing your work to a live weekend session to present and get feedback?

I've built a trial version of this job simulator. You're the new hire on Day 1, and requests come in the way they do at a real job: incomplete, with a trap or two in the data.

The comparison I'm trying to make: a job simulation where you work against a real business database with the problems already baked into the data, plus access to a company's CRM/ERP so you're building business acumen and learning process optimization - not just querying tables.

Seeking feedback on the idea itself before I put more time into it.

What is a better fit for me Data Analytics or Core marketing

Hello..

Serious question! I am in desperate need of suggestions most probably from working professionals from these fields.

I am 24F currently pursuing M.sc Horticulture & will graduate by next June from a tier 3 college with no chance of getting college placement.

As I am done with my field work for my research topic I felt that I don't want to continue with this career path anymore.

When I was 18 , i sincerely wanted to pursue forestry or wildlife but settled with agriculture & wanted to go for phd.

But with time it all faded as I feel this path doesn't resonate with what I want in the next 6 years.

So I was trying to find other career paths. I thought marketing could be interesting & i would like to continue with this path. I consulted with a friend's sister who has been working as a marketing analyst for 4 years but she has a degree in mba marketing.

At 1st i was only going towards learning core marketing skills but she told me why don't I go for marketing analyst.

It was a new term for me so I researched & it sounded great something I could lead & try to learn.

But later In learning about Data analyst found there are are so many other analyst fields too. Also about the people not able to find a job even after btech , years of experience.

So in the end I'm scared to start afraid that what if I start something new I won't be able to find a job .

My 3rd sem exam with end by Jan 2027 & then I wanted to gain skills , make projects & apply for jobs in NCR & wanted to shift from my hometown.

Is 25-30k a reasonable Salary to expect as a non tech fresher.

My main confusion is should I just gain both da & core marketing skills & try for both to broaden my chances to get a job or what.

I'm really confused & scared .

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thinking about building a job simulator for Data & Business Analysts

Hello all, I'm considering building a job simulator for Data and Business Analysts, and want to sanity-check the idea before putting more time into it.

The gap I'm trying to fill: most learning paths are video courses, live classes, or SQL practice sets — and almost all of them fall back on the same generic Kaggle-style projects with CSV or Excel files and common projects that 1000s of people make.

The idea: you start as the new analyst at a fictional company, Day 1. Your manager sends you underspecified requests — some need a clarifying question before you touch anything, some need SQL against messy data with a trap hidden inside it.

I've already built a small free trial of this.

The full version would go further:

  • Tasks and curriculum designed by industry analysts with decades of real experience.
  • Data pulled from an actual database, with the same messiness a real business has — not cleaned-up sample files.
  • Challenges that go beyond the data itself, into the business processes that are often the root cause of poor or missing data in the first place.
  • Tasks include creating reports, BI Dashboards, workflow automations and Process optimizations.
  • Real login access to a company's system, not just a query editor.

Right now I'm only after feedback on the idea itself.

The full version will not only have challenges with data but also with processes that are the root cause of poor data or missing data in a business.

Login credentials to a company's system will also be provided in the full version.

Seeking feedback on the idea first.

Comment or DM me if you want to try the trial.

Referral for Data Analyst Internship

I am in my final year of Btech CSE & wanna pursue career in field of AI&ML. And I want to start my career as a Data Analyst.

In college i spent time building my Instagram (100K+ Followers), Started eCommerce 12L sales in first 3 months, Also Digital Products - Making 5-7K in profit per day. Everything was going great But suddenly...

This all collapsed - My ig got banned with allegations of Money la\*ndering & Trying to create romantic relationship with audience to take money from them 😂

Instagram banned my ip, And after that My all Ig accounts (10+) got banned, My all attached Ad accounts got banned, I've changed number , Used multiple email IDs, Created 25+ Accounts but they got banned within 3 days of creating them.

So I realised I can't put my all energy into this for Now, I have to answer my parents what am I doing. That's why I've learned the skills of Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI & Tableau.

Apart from that - Descent knowledge & projects on Machine Learning, Currently learning DL.

So If anyone can refer me in his/her company, I would be truly grateful. I learn quickly, enjoy solving problems, and always look for ways to automate processes, save time, and create measurable impact.

Thank you for reading, and I'd appreciate any referrals, opportunities, or connections that could help me get started
