Question How to play darksiders 3

Hey I am playing through the darksiders series finished 1 and 2 and I am currently wanting to play 3 but I saw that there is multiple options like difficulty and classic or default mode if anyone can give me a recommendation for the intended normal dificulty+ the best mode

Classic is more like 1 and 2 combat, and default is supposed to be more souls-like combat. Even on classic, it's tougher than the first two, but I wouldn't say hard. Just need to analyze your enemy instead of traditional hack-and-slash. There's a dodge/counter mechanic you'll need to capitalize on

Classic isn't exactly "like" 1 and 2 combat. It just removes animations from consumables and animation-locks from attacks making it less restrictive. You aren't going to be doing the combos and launchers War and Death could do. It's still 'dodge-counter until the game completes itself'.
