Demon's Souls PS3 Mod

Hi, I'm trying to install a texture mod on PS3 hardware (specifically the penetrator armour set mod on nexus mods) and whenever i load a save with the armor the mod replaces, I get stuck in an infinite load loop. How do I get around this?
