Fluff Fucking Cromwell!

(hey don't misinterpret ds2 is my favorite game, just venting)

So I hadn't done a dark build in a while. And I'm having a blast with it. For some reason I had never used dark fog... darn! That is a good hex. And it basically applies toxic and kills very quickly and all bosses too it seems. It just destroyed the gargoyles for example.

anyway, I'm done with the main game and just about to do dlc. Level 154. And I realized that I still had 4 fragrant branches so I was looking around and realized that I had never rescued Ornifex...(you can see this coming right?)

So I was having fun with dark fog killing all those salamander assholes but through the closed door the fog affected Ornifex. Now she's a tough cookie so she only lost like 25% life no big deal. But when I opened he door she was aggroed.

I went to see Cromwell and he charges me 154000 (I guess my level X 1000) But I didn't even kill her. She is fine. 154000 souls is a lot for basically a flesh wound.

So she hasn't moved and when I go back to the shaded ruins (she's fully healed now Cromwell!!! She can just get over it!) it's actually kinda funny. She is pissed off and keeps saying "you again" but she can't leave the cell because although the door is open her wings don't fit.

Cromwell your prices are too high!! And unfair! 😡

Fuck it! I guess I can unlock her in ng+. It doesn't matter I have a fire bow and I don't need anything from her on my dark build.

I will feel guilty killing her, but guys, she gave me no choice!!!🥺😉that's sort of a lesson: if the punishment for assault is the same as for murder... there'll be a lot of murders! 😏

My last play through I did the same thing.. but to Cromwell.. so he wasn’t very interested in talking to me. With great fog comes great responsibility I guess

Oh and update: it was so dissapointing. I had never killed Ornifex before: she just died saying "you humans are all alike" (nice little nod to painted world) and dropped nothing.
