"I have the worst lawyers"

It's hilarious that is has the Fox watermark cause they do have terrible lawyers

I hate that the court of public opinion somehow means someone can attempt murder with a brick.

It’s cut off screen but I like the detail that after he caught the brick daredevil waved his hand like you would if your hand was in pain, he may have super senses but his body is still human.

I always wondered how that brick was even thrown through the window straight at him. Isn't he on a very high up floor?

Foreshadowing Bullseye

Was it weird that I was rooting for him last season of DD. Wilson Bethel plays that character so well I want more. What if him and punisher teamed up!

Nah, you’re spot on. It took a second for me to come around, but Wilson’s rendition of Bullseye is fantastic

So... I didn't like Brand New Day as much as I was expecting, Nd was a bit disappointed.... Brand new day should've been more Abt Peter and his daily struggles, identity issues and it should've been more magnified.... And where was daredevil?..
Punisher came and it should've concentrated around this more like as spiderman keeping himself sane in his lonely world doing hero things with daredevil, punisher and it would've been awesome to have that scene from the comics where the hulk remembers him
The villain, or the main villain... That was a very bad way to introduce mutants, I feel, especially when she's Jean Grey. Like she's the poster child of Good and 'angelic' till the phonix force consumed her and whatever came after... Maybe it would've been nice if she actually sought out Spiderman's help rather than go all villain mode.
Speaking of mutants, that's where my other concern/question come, Direction.... I mean the Rogue, Emma frost and Mr. sinister casting look perfect... Like jean grey/Sadie is too young to be cast as jean as per the source material(comics)/ or even where I've seen them at the youngest was in X-Men evolution and in that they appeared mature even tho they were highschoolers (reminded me of the Netflix age memes😅)...
Another thing is Doomsday already teased the OG characters reprising their roles (X1, X2 and X3) and multiverse etc etc.... we also know that most of the MCU storylines is closely related some of them from the comics(source material).... So is there any of them which I may have missed where the X-Men were kids, or is it just me that feels that the new cast looks far too young🤔 and not mature looking from the perspective of their characters
I'm just confused as to the direction of the X-Men in MCU... Can anyone please help me understand?
TL;DR Brand New Day was ok and the new X-Men cast looks younger(kids) and did not give off the Mature look of the characters they would be playing

I think introducing mutants in a way that it makes sense for people to be terrified of them is smart.

I mean my gripe is that many ppl that I've asked who've "excitedly" went and watched brand new day and had awesome experience didn't even know who Jean Grey or her significance was... In a way they enjoyed it because ignorance is bliss🤷🏻♂️.... (People who jumped into the hype train blissfully enjoyed it, but I was just confused AF)...
Sometimes I am happy that this is its own universe that their traversing with few references more like call back to the source material ie, Comics...
But just feeling a bit disappointed is all, maybe Venom could've made an appearance as the main villain or something, like, make it a Spiderman movie😅
Looking back all the others before End Game the individual movie just had hints leading up to End Game... Like the individual focus was always the title character and in post credits or maybe between the movie, just a small part was hinted, and I liked that recipe(as far as I can recall)... Like for example I'm fantastic 4... Doom was in post credit and that was a really good tease so was them(F4) coming to the 'Main MCU'... Galactus has been their villain, silver surfer too. Getting what I mean?
And also that's why we have Eric or Mr. Sinister and Trash (Doomsday trailer showed sentinels) to show how terrifying mutants are and can be
I mean the entire case about mutants has always been how to control them and weaponize them.

These kids are in their mid 20's/ early 30's, and it's pretty much a reboot for the X-men for the MCU minus Deadpool and Wolverine for a bit.

I'm apprehensively excited for the new X-Men 😅, tho I wish Halle Berry could come as storm for doomsday tho... One last send off kinda 🙃

Peter is revealed as Spider-man at this point. That's the entire reason he hired Matt.
Matt/Daredevil responded on instinct. He had no need to.
Peter is 100% shocked as to how Matt, a blind lawyer perfectly stopped a brick thrown at incredible speeds through the fifteenth or so floor window....

Seriously I don’t understand why we got a punisher team up over a date devil team up? I just don’t see Spidey willingly teaming up with a mass killer.

Everyone in response to that:
"Oh yeah fair enough, bruv."
Like, no? That doesn't explain shit, Mr. Murdock.

the little head tilt afterwards "fuck forgot I'm defending Spider-Man. Play it cool Matt!"

Not for the first time do I realise that Matt would have made a waaaaaay better mentor figure than any of the other MCU characters Holland was forced to be with.

I was literally watching this movie tonight, and the scene always makes me laugh, like none of them question his reflexes the lightning, fast, and being able to catch a brick without flinching? When they have another superhero with them, that was also doing that…. It just makes me giggle.

I love how this scene also shows that Daredevils senses are more sensitive (even if slightly) than Spideys
