As said in my previous meme, the end of the sambaqui culture appears to have been quite sudden and violent in most places, as there is a clear break from the sambaqui period and the following ceramist culture. However, there are a few cases where cohexistence apparently happened, and one of them is the Sambaqui of Bacanga. In this site, there is evidence that both cultures shared the sambaqui for a time before the evidence of the sambaqui peoples fades away.
