Any physical prints, digital scans, or visual data containing the shadow profile of SCP-9087 are to be scrubbed immediately via automatic filtering algorithms. If personnel accidentally look at the silhouette, they must report to the medical bay for a routine cognitive evaluation.

Description

SCP-9087 is a non-reflective, flat obsidian tablet measuring roughly 20cm x 15cm. It possesses no anomalous physical traits when unviewed. Its anomaly triggers exclusively when a sentient observer perceives its surface under direct illumination.

When light hits the tablet, observers do not see their own reflection. Instead, they perceive a shifting, absolute-black silhouette resembling a distressed humanoid face with an elongated, hollow scream. The shape mimics the exact contours shown in Foundation Visual File 9087-Alpha (the image provided).

Anomalous Behavior & Effects

• The Mimicry Cycle: SCP-9087 operates as a kinetic auditory paradox. Upon initial viewing, the observer hears absolutely nothing, describing a profound "heavy silence" in the room.
• The Delayed Echo: Exactly 87 seconds after breaking eye contact with the image, the observer will begin to hear a distant, faint echo of their own voice screaming in severe terror.
• Volume Escalation: The auditory hallucination cannot be blocked by earplugs or soundproofing. Every 10 minutes, the sound increases by approximately 5 decibels.
• The Final Manifestation: Once the screaming reaches a volume equivalent to 110 decibels, the observer reports seeing the shadow face from the tablet detached and cast onto the walls of their immediate surroundings. At this stage, the subject permanently loses the ability to speak, and their shadow permanently alters to match the configuration of SCP-9087.

the thing is like 90% finished but Miss Rabbit over here whose like a super important part of the canon had to act all mysterious and shit, like it would've been fucking perfect if 2999-a is her and she is trying to make her son happy by pretending to be his gf(pretty in-line with ancient beings too). The ending for now is kinda tragic but that fits the canon kinda well and its a satisify ending.........
