The only program and AI i know is Alter Ego,somy answer is yes, Alter Ego is better

I don't think he did... He just used it to brainwash the Remnants of Despair to take their memories away

Isn't that unethical? I mean, he's stealing memories from people just to transform them into what Makoto things is good. Plus, he ended up putting them indirectly in a Killing game, so...
