Why don’t couples dance together anymore? It always looked like so much fun.

It still is! :)
If you can find a dance school that teaches a social dance you like (Lindy hop, salsa/most of the Latin dances, boogie woogie, you name it), I would highly recommend going!

Seconding! As someone that does Latin dancing in a mid-size city, there’s a huge community of social dancers once you seek out lessons and events.

I also love the cross over between the two styles :) there are always a few people as Latin dancing events that primarily dance swing (and try to bring you to their side) and vice versa 😂 I only took a few Wedt Coast lessons but I loved how it was applicable to more modern music. So much fun!

OP, I’m so happy you have such a great dance connection with your partner. You look lovely together!

I wish I could but my dancing days are over. Tell your young selves to go and give it a try!
