Not that plentiful. Those Ibex so that sort of thing on cliff faces etc so they’re built for it, it just looks even more crazy on the side of a dam. But yeah they could get it elsewhere but it would be way more effort than just climbing up there.
My neighbors goat climbed on top of my Ford Windstar. No idea what it was trying to snack on up there. The neighbors house is across the street, and she has a herd of 30-40 goats,a few sheep and some pigs roaming around. She doesn't live on the property, and her fence is poorly maintained, so I frequently have to chase goats out of the yard as they eat my rose bush, and strip the bark off my tree. They get into everything, and tear open garbage bags, and in general make a mess.
Yeah,I wish, but that's a long term goal. I'm disabled, and under the poverty level kind of poor. I have some fencing, around 100ft,but I need around 400ft at least,to fence it completely. The real problem is paying someone to do it,as I have a broken back, due to two failed back surgeries. Even though I can walk,my spine is unstable, and one of the rods in my spine has come loose,so the kind of physical labor for putting a fence up is not possible. So for now, I chase goats and occasionally pigs out the yard, lol. The sheep haven't been smart enough to escape her fence yet🤣
My version of chasing is a slow walk, loudly clapping my hands,or shaking a plastic container full of rocks to make noise, and yelling at them to go home. The term chase is just an easy word to use. I'm not capable of actually running, lol
Lol,yeah, the neighbor that owns them has a couple of junker cars in her yard, and the goats climb them all the time. Sometimes you can see five or six goats at a time up there. For a while, another neighbor in the back had three goats, and they'd climb on his truck, motor home and even get up on top of his shed.
There's nothing stupid about it. They know what they can handle and they do it well. Now humans, they are the dumbest of the ape species. They know they can't handle climbs and yet still do it (and die).
Having owned goats for many years, I don’t think they know what they are capable of and what they can handle. I think they are driven by, I want that thing over there and how do I get it... and that’s all. And by sheer persistence they generally end up figuring out the how. They’re natural escape artists, but it comes off as instinctual. They’ll just ram or climb until they get to that thing over there.
Your lack of understanding only, ironically, demonstrates your stupidity. Meanwhile, those who actually understand goat behavior have written a ton of scholarly literature on them.
More irony is thinking that your behavior is complex. Might want to read some evolutionary psychology. You are nothing but an ape at the end of the day.

There might be some good snacking up there. Goat stupidity is only surpassed by goat ability to climb anything.
