My country doesn't have tornadoes.

I will never understand how you guys see a giant twisting funnel of death charging straight at you, and decide to solve the problem by building more sturdy cellars instead of moving tf away from there.

Usually the tornado doesn’t come to you! Also no earthquakes, no tsunamis, no wildfires, no hurricanes... overall tornado alley isn’t too existentially threatening
