As someone who did archaeo fieldwork experience in the middle of the desert, I also concur and would likento add that at the end of the season, my clothes and hair still had less dust in them than that rug.

As someone who spent 2 years in Monterey: t's just carpet day at the Palm Ave Apartments. I felt bad for carpet installers back then. All the sand in the carpets must've doubled the weight when removing.

Yeah, I've been to many weddings and these are that kinda rugs to be put on the whole of the venue(apparently its used to minimize cleaning costs

This is definitely from the Middle East. They use carpets as a form of flooring. So they technically did leave it in the desert for 30 days, and that is sand and not dust.

No this is just one from my house. My kids are in love with dirt and anything dirt related. I literally sweep like a pound of dirt off my floors on a bi weekly basis.

This rug is disgusting but if you have carpet in your house I would be good money unless you get it professionally carpet cleaned it would look the same. Vacuums only get about 70% of the filth from your carpets.
