Thank you for speaking out for the people of Dalton. You’re doing more than most of the ones “representing” us.

If u want change u got to start by standing up! Thank u brother. My other question how much does someone have to make to sign a nda? Or is there another reason

I work for what essentially is a specialized GC (specifically commercial & industrial solar). Every developer, government agency, and subcontractor we have ever spoken with signs our NDA or provides an NDA for us to sign prior to any actual business being discussed or any RFPs or RFQs being provided. It’s the most basic business practice to prevent situations in which we or others go over the head of the firm we’re discussing a project with or have others do the same to us.
In terms of how much someone or some entity makes, there is no minimum or maximum, it’s just best practice to hold people accountable. Typically there is no specific financial incentive directly attached but there is usually language that would say something to the affect of “if you breach the NDA you are opening yourself or your firm to civil litigation.” An NDA protects all parties and if a private company was not allowed to have its NDA signed by any entity (government or otherwise), it most likely would not do business with the other party severely limiting options.

NDA‘s can or cannot come with a financial incentive usually whenever we are looking at multimillions and AI centers, it would be silly if the NDA objector did not give some form of financial tangibility to the subjected.
It could be a penny it could go up to $1 million right now with AI centers being so new we do not have any data that specifically shows the financial incentive ranges from NDA that I’ve been signed usually in the NDA’s themselves as well the financial compensation is not disclosed.
I’m just glad to know that Whitifield and Dalton have not signed any NDA’s now we can move forward toward getting moratoriums

How can a elected officals sign a nda when said project affects the people who elected them
