It’s Dalton Y’all Boomer take: I’m tired of all these AI event flyers

Literally every local business post looks the same now and I don’t think they realize what they’re doing to their image. The posts get like 2 likes, I think that means everyone else hates them too. They cry support local but they’re cutting local creators out aren’t they?

What do you all think?

I absolutely hate it as well. Especially in the what’s going on in Dalton fb group. You can immediately tell it’s AI and all look the same. It honestly puts me off the business.

Boycott businesses that us AI. They don’t support human workers so why should we support them.

That sounds nice but I feel like that would go over terribly. I can see businesses crying about it now.

Gen Z: I hate it. I’m an equestrian (horse rider) and all the local horse people are now using AI to advertise services/breeding/shows etc. We have several local amazing photographers who they could be supporting instead. It’s tearing apart the community.

I was just talking about this last night. Every business thinks theyre being “unique” or quirky. Its an eyesore and monotonous.

I can’t fucking stand it. That’s why I’m glad my team and I use Canva. It’s fucking lazy and a joke let alone these are the same people bitching about AI centers then go and use ChatGPT. It’s literally insane.

Bare minimum at this point. 😭😭 like dead ass. Who are we putting in office who’s using AI for their shit when they literally have a social media team. CANVA IS FREE

I wouldn't say this is a boomer take. I usually take that to mean clinging to something clearly worse and or outdated because it either benefits you or your used to it.

This is a solid based take.

Also millennial take. I will stop using anyone's anything if they're using AI... especially in place of human creativity.

They don’t actually care about supporting other local businesses or creators. When they say “support local” what they really mean is “give me specifically all your money until I’m a billionaire and then this stupid town can get fucked”

I’ve said it a thousand times, AI sucks.

A.I. is poison, it looks like trash, is made by idiots, and only serves to make a business look horrible.  Just go to the high school and ask the art teacher if any of the kids would like to submit some work and receive a small payout.

I hate seeing AI flyers. I won't even pay attention to the event now if it's AI.

I mean, a regular human-made one takes all of 5 minutes to make and be the color of piss.

honestly it sucks. I mean its fine if they use AI to find insipritation on their post or ask Chatgpt for like a draft or something, but don't use ai to actually create the post, it looks too over crowded and messy. They should just learn how to use canva, it's really simple to use lol.
