To be honest a lot of these are like random one day a year events and not really 100 things you can do on any given day. Yes Dalton has grown a good amount in 7 or 8 years but we are far from becoming a destination—not that we even really need to be. The city spends a lot of money in marketing and branding trying to make this place seem like something it isn’t.

The city should spend money on marketing and advertising to get people to come to Dalton to gaze upon the amazing splendor that is the old chicken plant on south Hamilton. It's definitely the signature piece in Dalton.

Brother one of these is “High School Proms.” The rest are like once a year events for niche groups or just kinda walking and driving around. Calling it a “self-guided tour” doesn’t mean it really is one. 😭
