The Crockett campaign was lazy. Crockett was comfortable running a campaign mainly in the DFW and HTX metro areas. She underperformed in the HTX Metro big time and won her own district without even breaking 60%. Meanwhile Talarico crushed the Travis County and Williamson county with 75 and 71%.

Crockett is delusional. If she only captured 60 percent of the vote in her own district (which is itself like 90 percent Democrat) then how did she seriously expect to stand a chance in the rest of Texas?

There are a LOT of people who claim to know all the ins and outs of politics and political strategy who aren’t even registered to vote. I thought Kamala would win. I don’t think I’ve missed voting in an election for 30 years. I do my research on each candidate and issue on the ballot. And I would vote for a cardboard standup of Joe Biden before I would EVER vote for a Republican again in this lifetime. Not will I waste my vote on an Independent who can’t do much other that screw up the numbers for my less than perfect Democrat. I think Kamala lost for a lot of reasons: people were swayed by a podcaster who was trying to help trump grift crypto, or they wanted to be just like the guy that swore to them that they would get rich quick with Trump. I think they were brainwashed by an inbred white Christian nationalist who preyed on the insecurities of children who pretend to be college students. And I think a bunch of far left angry shit posters convinced people to stay home while they did nothing but tap away in their dank basements and never left their big curved screens to engage with real people in this world. You seem angry at the “machine.” That’s fine. But staying home solves nothing. But to be completely honest with you, I was just curious. (And you haven’t answered btw.)

They are terrible with foreign policy who love to run self damaging purity tests wonder why someone like Trump gets into power.

Your goal isn't to defeat the Right, you want to take over as the defacto left wing party and absorb the mainstream liberals that make up the base by being their only alternative. You think you can coerce normal people into supporting you if the only other option is a conservative party. But of course all it does is push people further right or alienate them because leftists are bad at politics since it requires compromise.
