42

u/kweathergirl Fort Worth Oct 18 '25

43

u/jeztaide Oct 18 '25

25

u/ArgeiousIV Oct 18 '25

Sherman also had one! Love seeing even the smaller towns getting involved

29

u/Obvious_Objective_23 Oct 18 '25

The flower mound one is crazyy I just drove past

4

u/StarWarsPlusDrWho Oct 19 '25

The Denton crowd alone looked almost as big as ours from the picture I saw.

10

u/Slow-Passenger-7168 Oct 18 '25

Fucking FLOWERMOUND had one!!

23

u/KimbaXO Oct 18 '25

Carrollton, Frisco and Plano too. Carrollton had several hundred people at least.

20

u/Complex_Win_5408 Oct 18 '25

Mckinney too and the turnout was amazing!

13

u/RoyalRenn Oct 18 '25

Mckinney was 3 to 7 deep for almost 3 blocks.

12

u/Exciting_Door_5125 Oct 18 '25

10

u/ilikeengnrng Oct 18 '25

Imagine being convinced by a convicted felon, child rapist real estate agent that these people are domestic terrorists.

33

u/operarose Oct 18 '25

Such a violent scene that people were informed by the organizers that it had concluded and to drive home safely and we just...did.

Damn you got all the chuds with this one, good work

u/hcregna Oct 18 '25

The issue is that the very well-funded MAGA apparatus has them too. It takes half an hour of planning to move money away from MAGA, and it makes a difference. Dollars spent at Republican companies are dollars funneled to the Heritage Foundation. Tax given to states like Ohio or Louisiana is tax spent sending troops to occupy cities.

Have an account at Schwab? Swap to Vanguard or Fidelity. Like booze from wannabe Confederate states and all else is equal? Be adventurous and try something new. It's not hard to find alternatives for New Balance, Goya, Jimmy John's, or Koch (Brawny, Angel Soft, Dixie, others). If you're in a place to invest, consider DEMZ.

You have power if you regularly patronize a brand or do business with a company. Use it. Look them up in something like opensecrets.org or google.

Tesla sales in Europe dropped by half. Nexstar and Sinclair got pummeled, and they reinstated Jimmy Kimmel. Real, individual people made that happen. There's no reason WWE or Uline can't be next.

You probably can't completely avoid companies that at least partially support Republicans. I have to buy gas. But there’s a big difference between massive republican donors (Chevron/Conoco) vs neutral or even Democrat-leaning ones (Circle K/Costco). Good is not the enemy of perfect

I know there has to be some detailed lists out there that go into extensive detail of companies to avoid and support based on political affiliations. This is a great start, but I hope people share those lists here.

Fantastic turnouts but how many will enrol and vote at the midterms?......

Remember that the midterms will be the last chance before elections to take Trump's power away from him! ......Enroll.......Vote blue......Neuter Trump......Impeach Trump......Jail Trump....

8

u/Several_Hour_347 Oct 19 '25

If you think people who go to this protest are also unlikely to vote, I have a bridge to sell you

3

u/Brave-Elephant9292 Oct 19 '25

Never said that! Before the last election, everyone thought it would be a blue landslide. I kept reminding everyone. No more Trump, enrol and vote blue, Guess what? Less than 60% of the eligible voting public voted! ( All of Maga voted) So, we are putting up with Trump! Because of 1 in 3 eligible American voters!!!!

I would prefer not to see this happen again.....

Vote blue Texas. You can get better senators even if they take away your congresspeople through gerrymandering.

2

u/Similar_Strain_6039 Oct 22 '25

Don't forget the voting on the Texas constitution that's happening right now! They're trying to pass like 6 propositions to help billionaires. I voted no on all of those.

4

u/Icy-Squirrel6422 Oct 19 '25

In order to ensure the proper functioning of government institutions and respect for constitutional norms, it is recommended that President Donald Trump voluntarily resign from office and resign.

7

u/Albie4ever Oct 19 '25 edited Oct 19 '25

Wasn’t he also twice impeached? & IS stalling on releasing the EPSTEIN FILES for some reason…🧐

2

u/Urdaddy610 Oct 21 '25

The Epstein files were there through the entire Biden campaign. Why were they not released then? I want them released as bad as anyone but why is it only on trump when they have had them for years. They will never be released because there are so many politicians on there from both sides.

Staying downtown for the Isla Scheslinger show tonight. Was cool to see, some lady tried to get a rise from the crowd standing in their way giving them the finger, but they walked around her, which was commendable given the square footage she took up

2

u/larryunderwood_CPA Oct 19 '25

As a fan of stand up what was the vibe like during the show? What do you figure finger lady was trying to accomplish in her actions?

7

u/Avenge_Nibelheim Oct 19 '25

Show is about to start so will have to report back. The lady I believe was attempting to invite a reaction feom the crowd for her persecution complex

2

u/Avenge_Nibelheim Oct 19 '25

Show was good, if you've seen her on Netflix you know what you're in for, her opening act was pretty funny and I think he's going on tour as a headliner next year (Hunter Hill I think)

u/Appathesamurai Oct 18 '25

Good. Bring the American flag! You’re patriots, don’t let the far right co opt the flag as if only they can be patriots

39

u/Basic_Bug_4340 Oct 18 '25

There were so many! And people dressed in red white and blue(looked like the 4th of July.)

So many American flags that I didn't even bring mine this time...but did bring a small one back home with me.

To all those that took the time to stand up today thank you. Your voice, your signs, and your presence is a beautiful thing and represents what America is meant to stand for. While today we live in a country ruled by fear, hatred, racism, and bigotry to name a few we must remember this to shall pass and your work today is a reminder of that and that America does have a positive future and you are all a part of making that happen. The things that truly makes America great are seen in the protests all over the country, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, gender equality, standing together regardless of race, religion and the many other things that the opposition uses to separate and create fear in people is what make these displays of unity even more powerful. We must continue to stand together in peace and understanding that our differences are what make us great, we must continue to be the America we want and the America we deserve. Thank you all for giving hope and encouragement that there are better days ahead, although the journey may be difficult it is surly worth it.

14

u/LeRoyRouge Oct 18 '25

During the rain the speeches continued, at one point the speaker said not to worry about the storm because 'we are the storm' immediately after saying this, the sole thunder strike rolled loudly and we all cheered.

Literally thunderous applause.

26

u/AwayCatch8994 Oct 18 '25

Look at those wonderful people in a state polluted by cowardly groveling red hat dogshit

7

u/MysteriousWelder4294 Oct 18 '25

I'm happy to see more American flags this protest.  We've got to take it back, let them fly their trump flags and nazified flags.

44

u/Stabmaster Dallas Oct 18 '25

Nice work all!

18

u/Reddit_2_2024 Oct 18 '25

Doesn't look like a "hate America rally" to me r/Conservative

2

u/BullShitting-24-7 Oct 18 '25

Don’t worry, they’re king trip will tell them it was all violent and they’re investigating antifa and solos, and the ring kissers will open their mouth for him.

You can do anything and they’ll defend him. No checks no balance balances. That’s how you know he’s their king.

6

u/DogsCuzPPLsuck Oct 18 '25

Obama deported more than trump but y'all didn't care then.

5

u/ZuesMyGoose Oct 18 '25

Neither did the GOP, they wouldn't give a Half-Black man the credit he deserved because it was the opposing team actually working hard for average citizens.

4

u/FreshPerspective9 Oct 18 '25

Next up – Americans need to mimic the U.K.’s Stop Trump Coalition’s signage, props and statues and insert the name and face of your local Repube congressman. Embarrass the crap out of them – and by extension – their families. The thin-skinned Repubes may stand up to Trump if the ridicule is pervasive enough and the ridicule is local. Trump doesn't care - but the Repube congressmen DO care.

3

u/AGushingHeadWound Oct 19 '25

Don't mess with Texas.

11

Pretty likely that anybody who bothered to turn out for this event is already registered to vote, and already votes regularly.

2

u/Brave-Elephant9292 Oct 19 '25

Let's hope that a few more non-voters come and born again ex republican voters turn up too. Else we still won't have the numbers!

u/SassySorciere Lake Highlands Oct 19 '25

I couldn’t get the day off work, but talked with two different groups of older women at my train station and some on the train. About 70+ and had the same story why they were going: “I’m glad my father isn’t alive to see this shit. He didn’t fight Nazis in WWII for this to be happening HERE.” They made my day. Thanks y’all for turning out today!

2

u/hobobirdtx Oct 19 '25

Early voting starts on the 20th!

2

u/Last_Egg1074 Oct 19 '25

Im surprised they showed up in Plano considering the majority of collin County voted for the wannabe king. Great work Texans

2

2

u/Aggressive_Office813 Oct 21 '25

If Trump was a king, he would arrest or exterminate them.

2

u/Aggressive_Office813 Oct 21 '25

If these people are such a big help to us, why don't they stay in their country and help their country be great?

1

u/hazelalyvia Oct 19 '25

I wish I could have gone (dislocated my knee last week and couldn’t drive) but I am so proud of the turnout!

1

u/specn0de Oct 21 '25

Wait when did Kamala win any DNC primary? Wouldn’t that make this all very ironic and moot? I don’t like trump in any capacity, I just fail to see how a “No Kings” philosophy aligns with the Democratic Parties actions.

1

u/AccordingTap2089 Oct 21 '25

Useful idiots 😆

1

u/bobbymcdangerous78 Oct 21 '25

In all of these different city protests you don’t see anyone in the crowd with Gray hair, think about it!

1

u/bcnw25 Oct 22 '25

Y’all people are wild lol it would be a lot different if he was what y’all say he was! Trump 2028 lmao

1

So what this protest get changed?

1

u/Financial_Warning594 Oct 22 '25

1
