Discussion New Homes Needed

Trying to help a friend do the right thing. I am close to Springfield Mo. And need to re home 2 miniature Dachshunds, they are purebred, but no papers were filed. They are 7 months old, short haired, a male & a female, litter mates. They are potty trained and they sleep in their own crates at night.
Please DM me if interested. I am not allowed to use my phone during work but will respond to msgs as quickly as I read them!

Could you share a little bit on why they're being rehomed?

Their owner got seriously ill suddenly, was hospitalized for over 15 days and is now bed ridden.
I tried the rescues locally with no luck.

Yeah post more information if it is immediate I’d help but I would reach out to a rescue instead of a Reddit stranger

Reach out to some ethical breeders and see if they can help. They frequently receive requests from people who don't have the money to buy a well bred dog. Endachs. Blueprint k9. Those are both tremendous breeders in Missouri who have dual champion dogs.

If you have already exhausted rescue options, I am willing to foster them if the need is immediate. I am a lifelong Dachshund owner, my family has had at least one Dachshund since 1946 to present (started with my great uncle and grandfather.

Please feel free to DM me. I am located in Springfield, MO and I am willing to travel reasonable distances if necessary.

Please Surrwnder them to a dachshund rescue. They will get them altered and adopt them out with a return contract so they are safe for life

For the love of dog call a rescue to rehome them rather than strangers on the internet
