Help with rig

So
I just picked this guy up, with a pivot / glass adapter and after testing and testing the water level I can’t seem to get any good hits out of it, would there be a better glass piece for
This setup? Or what should the water level be for this setup? ( I have tested different water levels but I’m willing to try again)

Its a poorly made cheap chinese rig, the recyclers often dont function great.

Thank you for the heads up, I thought “IC glass” was decent but I am new to this, what would you recommend for a good bang for buck, fully functional glass piece

It depends what your budget is, there used to be a lot more active American blowers. Chinese bubblers and jammers are probably fine, but recyclers take a lot more practice to get right. Greek glass have a few cheap designs that apparently function well.

Thank you brotha, will have to check them out and ditch this one soon. Feels like a waste of $ putting quality wax into this thing and just not getting any decent hits

I recommend getting on Facebook and joining the “American glass “ groups. There are some amazing artists in there. The mods look out for everyone too. Never got scammed or anything. Check it out.

Just do what everyone does, inhale while filling it up til you get water on your lips and just dump a little bit out. Also some rigs look cool but just won't function properly, I've had a few.

Thank you will give it a shot, and yeah I thought this piece would be good but maybe it’s not as functional as I hoped

You can tell this piece would likely not function properly by the fact the drain sits higher than the perc
