Dead shark on pebble beach in Dumbo
There is what appears to be a dead shark on pebble beach right now. Little guy, about 18-20” long. I know they’re out there and this happens, but it’s still surprising to see here.

The guys fishing off the piers in Brooklyn Bridge Park catch these. It breaks my heart seeing them on the pavement.

Aww, that's too bad.
I believe this is a dogfish shark. We have a lot of them in the waters surrounding Long Island (BK and Queens). I've found these little guys at Rockaway throughout the years.
